Buddy’s Broads parade!
Jan 31st 2010 | Category: Videos the lagniappeBeebe and I decided to head down for the big walk today to honor Buddy Diliberto. Buddy said that if the Saints ever went to the Superbowl that he would parade around the city in a dress. Since Buddy is no longer with us, everyone decided to get together to fulfill his promise. They were expecting around 5,000 people to participate, but I think it was upwards of 10,000. Everyone was excited at what the Saints have done this season and can’t wait until the big game gets here. Everyone was out to have a good time and it showed!

Chad, I don't know that I'll ever need a cinematographer in New Orleans, but I really appreciate you posting this footage. My sister sent me a news item about the parade, but having video just made it more special.
